CNE House Rules

1. All gaming patrons must be at least 21 years old to wager and/or be allowed in the gaming area—at the discretion of management, a valid, government-issued photo ID must be provided upon request. A valid, primary ID is considered to be any form of government-issued photo identification. Examples of official government-issued ID: driver’s license, government-issued identification card, government-issued passport, government-issued photo identification card, government-issued alien identification card with photo, Cherokee National tribal citizenship card with photo and government-issued military IDs. Military IDs shall not be photocopied, therefore an alternate form of primary ID must be provided for any transactions that require a copy of the patron’s ID.

 

2. Rules, policies and procedures are in place to ensure the integrity of our casino promotions. Violations of promotional rules, policies and procedures will disqualify you from current promotions and may prohibit future participation in casino promotions.

 

3. Immediate family members of employees of CNE who are supervisors and above and its entities, as well as employees of CNB, are not eligible for any promotions or drawings which involve an element of chance unless a base prize is available; in which case they are eligible to receive the base prize only.

 

4. Loitering and solicitation are strictly prohibited on casino premises.

 

5. Patrons are only allowed access to public areas of the casino. All visitors must sign in with security and receive a visitor badge to access restricted areas.

 

6. Pets are prohibited unless necessary for handicapped purposes.

 

7. Persons under 21 years of age must be accompanied by an adult while on casino property.

 

8. Shoes and shirt are required.

 

9. Outside food and/or drinks are prohibited.

 

10. Noisemakers, photographic equipment and/or sound recording equipment are prohibited.

 

11. Bags, backpacks, purses, overcoats and other items, which may conceal prohibited items, may be subject to search by casino personnel.

 

12. Weapons and/or illegal non-prescription drugs of any kind are strictly prohibited on casino premises.

 

13. All persons must vacate the premises when required by management and/or security.

 

14. Patrons may be limited to one gaming machine during peak business hours. Patrons may not reserve or hold machines.

 

15. All gaming tickets/vouchers are valid for fourteen (14) days from the date printed.

 

16. Two forms of valid identification are required for payouts over $1,199.99—one must be a state or federal government-issued photo ID. Player’s Tax Identification Number (i.e., Social Security number) is required for door prizes or drawings over $50.

 

17. Cash payout limits vary by facility—residual payments may be made by check to winner. See the Cashier’s Cage for additional information.

 

18. The casino complies with Title 31 regulations—information regarding these requirements is available at Player Services. CNE reserves the right to require identification for any transaction—prize wins must be claimed by the person playing the gaming machine.

 

19. Gaming Patron Tort Claim forms and information are available at Player Services.

 

20. Patrons are responsible for notifying management immediately of any injury that occurs while on premises.

 

21. All prize claims must be reported to casino management immediately. If disputes cannot be resolved with management, players may complete either a Prize Claim Notice form or follow the gaming dispute process outlined in Chapter 2 of the Cherokee Nation Gaming Commission Rules and Regulations (for non-compacted games only), which may be obtained at Player Services or from casino management.

 

22. No prize amount shall be paid in excess of the maximum advertised prize amount for the game played.

 

23. The casino and its employees are not responsible for credits, lost or stolen game machine tickets, gaming machine cards, or other personal property items including vehicles left unattended on the casino 
premises.

 

24. CNE reserves the right to delete or modify any promotion at any time without notice.

 

25. CNE reserves the right to exclude anyone or remove from the premises any person who violates House Rules, Game Rules, or any federal, state, local, or tribal law.

 

26. The casino is committed to helping patrons with compulsive gaming tendencies. 27. House Rules are subject to change without prior notice to the public.
